Is ODU any good?

We play them later in the season and I figured that might be a sure win, seeing as that it's their first year of football and have no scholarship seniors.

They are OK. Monmouth has trouble stopping the spread so that isn't helping us on defense. They have made some mistakes that the announcers say they haven't made all season.

Its not forced errors really. First interception was thrown behind receiver. Fumbled/botched snap on FG attempt, fumbled snap in shotgun.

as a portsmouth local.... no longer live there... but still a lot of friends there..... let me just say that i can name 50-75 people that tailgated in the rain today for ODU football.... i'm impressed and i must say, somewhat jealous that i do not live down there anymore

thank god for odu football because that area is way too large not to have some type of sports team to cling to (norfolk tides dont count)

keep up the good work... and while i am a jmu dukes fan true and through and live in richmond now.... i will support the odu effort (unless they play jmu)

Sinisi 41 carries (I think a school record), 216 yds, 2 tds. Also went 1 for 1 with a 24 yd td pass.

I would be scared to play ODU in about 4 years! Watch out CAA...there will be a new dog in town! Great coach, fan base and the talent in their own backyard is unbelievable. Keep your head up ODU....you're doing great.

Never the less still a first year program but I like what wilder has done so far.

Just got home from the game. We hung tough but couldn't stop Sinisi or Monmouth on a number of third down possessions. Monmouth's had some big ends who were great targets for their QBs. Like Monarch Nation said the game shows us what we need to work on.
