NORMAL – Ryan Perrilloux rushed for two touchdowns and threw for three more to lead Jacksonville State to a 45-13 win over Alabama A&M on Saturday at Louis Crews Stadium.
Perrilloux completed 12-of-23 passes for 293 yards while rushing nine times for 11 yards on the night. The LaPlace, La., native became the first player to have two rushing and three passing touchdowns in a single game in JSU’s Division I history and was the first Gamecock to account for five touchdowns in a game since Rondy Rogers ran for five on Oct. 31, 2001.
The Gamecocks (1-2) had 494 yards of total offense on the night, 177 on the ground and 317 through the air. The total offense output was the most for the Gamecocks since JSU racked up 511 against Eastern Kentucky on September 22, 2007.
