that was not just USC "screwing the pooch", they are not as good as they usually are period. Granted Washington is better than they were last year but they still should have beaten them by a couple TDs
either way it's a good day in Americaxpeacex

Indeed. I'm hoping for an 8-4 year for USC. Definitely a possibility. Would have been more likely if OSU hadn't screwed the pooch last week.
God, I hate USC.

I was thinking about putting in my post, "I bet Al is happy!" haha
I hope Cal whacks them.

USC has a really tough schedule remaining IMO. I think they'll do well to lose less than 4 games this year. Cal, ND, Oregon State, Oregon and UCLA can all beat them this year. I wouldn't be surprised if Stanford or Arizona gave them trouble too. They still have a lot of talent in certain spots but they're not very strong in the trenches.
I think it will be interesting to see what kind of effect Rick Neuheisel will have at UCLA. The girls are awfully hot there too and Westwood is better then USC's location. I can see UCLA pulling a little more even with the Trojans over the next couple years.

No joke, i was at the WSU/SMU game and we were thinking the same thing. (I still have no idea how the Cougs got lucky enough to pull off this win btw)

I couldn't agree more. Yet all the idiot USC homers on ESPN are saying that not having the starting QB for the game hurt them, defense wasn't playing with enough intensity, b.s. excuse after excuse. Washington WON THE GAME, and yet all we hear about is how great USC is in spite of them losing. Washington BEAT the #3 team in the country, and nobody cares. When are people going to wake up and realize that USC is the most overrated team in all of college football this year?
Glad to see USC taste failure for once. Let's see how they deal with it next week.

Yeah, that Barkley kid wasn't overly impressive in the OSU game. Granted, he didn't make any huge mistakes so maybe that's impressive for a true freshman going in against OSU. USC's RB and defense won the game against OSU. Of course, Tressel's questionable coaching doesn't hurt, either.

How bout USC losing to a team that went winless last year? Ouch.
NOTE: Locker does NOT play defense.
