I'm not sure what to make of the game. The defense did well, but the offense of both teams was sloppy! Maybe it was the rain..I don't know..but I just didn't have much confidence in the offense...I'm spoiled by Nathan Brown..xlolx McNeal coming in really helped though. Like I said before the year started, if the offense can gel, it will be a good year. If not..it's gonna be tough.

I don't care if those previous teams were loaded with Division II talent, they would have been cut if they did not meet the requirements necessary to be a Div I student-athlete.

UCA has built their program the right way and they have a class act in Clint Conque. I hope that some of the things going on with the administration do not stymie the growth of the UCA program. Seems you guys are off on the right foot...

If you are judging your team by speculating if wku could/could not beat EKU then it must be really hurting times in BG, as wku has made it know they have "moved on"......humh! perhaps not as far as you thought. Must say I am not losing any sleep over it (or is any other EKU fan)! BTW, as many FCS as well as FBS scores were read at our game last night, wku's game was not mentioned, make of that what you will :D

a) Sagarin ratings mean diddly poo at this point of the season

b) You can talk til your face goes red about what PV was on the 'brink' of doing, but at the end of the day it's either a 'W' or a 'L'. I've never seen an FCS fan crow so much about a close loss to an FBS team, even those that have lost to BCS conference schools on a last-second score

c) Until PV or the SWAC wins an FBS game, they are really treading water as it relates to their ability to compete with FBS teams. Again, W or L.

I concur completely. Of course I can't possibly see how you can consider the Sun Belt Conference a "move up." I mean come on, the best the Killtoppers can hope for now is being able to one day beat a powerhouse like Troy and going to the New Orleans Bowl. Pretty weak if you ask me.

And for the record, no, you aren't about to beat the Colonels.
