MILES COLLEGE!!

Their coach is FAMU's old coach Billy Joe... the same Billy Joe that Coached FAMU to a 44-29 Playoff victory over Appy State.

And, I think the Golden Bears just defeated Tuskegee last week.

So I wouldn't be surprised if Miles made a game out of this.

Samford is playing a really cocky team right now!

Miles' head coach is former Florida A&M head coach Billy Joe (The most recent MEAC coach to win a playoff game).

Thanks for the links, was not familiar with Miles College. And the game is definitely on-- it's 12-3 Miles with about a minute left in the first half.

Very sloppy, uninspired Samford win. A decent second half but a terrible first half.

Give Miles some credit...Hall of Fame coach and some good skill players. The final score was about what I expected, but the halftime score was a shock.

Miles has good skilled players? Who knew.

Yep, I would call a 6-4, 212 lb. QB transfer from the University of South Florida who has run a legitimate 4.3 a good skilled player. xnodx

Miles has always had great skill players, their problem has always been quarterback play and weakness at the o-line and d-line positions. The skill players that the have now are young buy their pretty good, not not as good as a few years back.

Miles has one of the larger HBCU followings exspecially in the Birmingham area. They're usually in the top 2 or 3 in attendance when it comes down to D-2s. They usually average around 10,000-11,000 per home game and their homecomming usually doubles that. During their Labor Day Classic game at Legion Feild they outdraw anything UAB will have there throughout the whole year.
