Dan Reeves is reportedly now a consultant for the Houston Texans according to an announcement that is forthcoming from Texans owner Bob McNair this afternoon.
Could this mean Dom Capers will be replaced by Reeves? Is it a health issue, can Reeves do it? I think Reeves is just going to be a consultant and no way he coaches but will have a say in the coaching decision that is forthcoming.
McNair slapped everyone in the face and brought Reeves in. I think Casserly and Capers are now as good as gone with this move. McNair wants someone he can trust and I think Reeves is his man. Should be interesting to see how this plays out...

As a Falcons fan, I think Reeves got a raw deal. Good coach...just don't let him be your GM...he's a great X's and O's guy who gets mislabelled as "too conservative". I know one thing, Vick was a much better passer when Reeves was coaching him.

No one else wanted Reeves. Hasn't he been a TV or radio host these last few years? Doing commentary or something?
We'll see how this plays out. An announcement is coming at like 4 PM or 4:30 PM after Capers does his press conference...
Our owner wants a more proactive role. He is ticked about the Buchanon trade according to a recent article in the Houston Chronicle...

I think we borrowed one of those half-time kickers that can't cross the goal line!
In all honesty, Brown has been a great kicker. I have no clue what happened there. All these "former HS kickers" have called into the radio shows down here saying he threw the game...

I bet there has been some fun Texan talk today - get a kick blocked, Titans drive for go-ahead field goal, return kick-off to 30, time expires - penalty on Titans, moves the ball to the 14, and then the worst field goal attempt in NFL history.

I don't are if they threw the game or not. At least my Titans got a victory. Those are few and far between this year. :hurray:
