POLL COMING
If the team from the Miami game shows up (minus the end) I'd go with FSU/BYU. If the FSU from last week shows up I'd pick any other game. xsmhx

I'm interested in that game too. I want to know if BYU is for real.

The U and GT. That game has serious ACC implications.

I don't think they will put up a ton. Tennessee will lose because of their offense... but, Tennessee's D won't let them get blown out.
Tennessee did well against Florida's offense last year... and, I believe Monte > Chavis.
Tim Tebow's stats from last year:
8 of 15 passing for 96 yards. 12 rushes for 26 yards.
Tennessee's TERRIBLE offense outgained Florida 258-243.
The score was so lopsided because of turnovers and special teams breakdowns.

I'll tell you after Saturday, I'll be in the stands for this one. If last weeks FSU team shows up, you will have to wait until they play TCU. TCU went on autopilot last week and rolled.

Unless FSU gets new DBs this week, I suspect Max Hall will have a good game. xsmhx I watched him shred Tulane.

It always pains me to vote for anything where BYU is the potential victor but, again, that game has BCS-blowing implications which I love even more than I hate BYU.

Probably more than they did on Charleston Southern. I guarantee Urban won't be calling off the dogs in this one.

GT vs. the Florida State Penitentary system should be a good one. Maybe the U really is back.
My vote was for Boise vs. Fresno State. I really like Pat HILL (edit) as a coach, he brings a lot to the table. Both teams play hard, because they both feel like they have alot to prove to earn their spot with the "big boys."

No. 14 Georgia Tech at No. 20 Miami (FL)...
I gotta say, I'm an ACC fan. I know I may get flamed for it, but I just love these matchups. Sorry, I just do!!
Granted, I'm not expecting a school from this conference to win a National Championship, or hell, to even win one of the big bowl games. But I do like the competitive football played.

I'll throw out an interesting game, Arizona at Iowa. The Hawkeyes fell out of the rankings after the near miss against UNI then killed ISU last week. Arizona is a sleeper team that might prove to be the 3rd best team in the PAC 10. The winner takes a big step forward imo.
Also Notre Dame-Michigan State. I think without a doubt Weis is coaching for his job Saturday at home. A loss to MSU and i see no way they'll be able to recover.
Tulsa-Oklahoma and Cincinnati-Oregon State could also be good ones.

You mean like Virginia Tech winning the Orange Bowl? I think most years (especially from this point forward) I see the ACC winning the Orange Bowl especially against a Big East team. (I know that isn't saying much but the league wasn't as bad as people say it was.)
I'm torn on that game, I have friends that went to GaTech and I hate the U. But I'm holding out hope for a FSU/Miami ACC title game. (So I can go xlolx) But still lots of football to be played.
