this is a huge blow to our offense this year! he was the next dane romero. hopefully he will heal 100% for next year. we have several back ups with arsenio parks being the bright spot. he's a big physical 235 pounder.

This is a huge loss coupled with the preseason loss on the backup/duel QB. WC will still be hard to beat due to the system but he was the starter was a reason.

Yep. This one really hurts. We were pretty thin in the backfield to begin with, plus he was one of the more experienced backs we had and was going to be one of our work-horses. Hopefully, Parks and Palmer can shoulder the load at FB. Wisconsin game should be a pretty big test.

The unfortunate part of FCS football, is that due to the scholarship limitations, most positions have one decent backup. When players start getting hurt, it really hampers a team's ability to play to their fullest potential.

Case in point, last year RJ Webb of Furman went down in the first game of the season. Furman's entire downfield passing game went with him.
