OVC Football Players of the Week
OFFENSIVE
Ryan Perrilloux, QB Sr., 6-3, 223 LaPlace, La. Jacksonville State
Perrilloux had the Gamecocks to within 35 seconds of upsetting Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) power Florida State after throwing for 213 yards and one touchdown on Saturday. His 28-yard touchdown pass to Jamal Young early in the first quarter gave JSU a 6-0 lead of the Seminoles. Overall Perrilloux completed 12 passes and rushed for 39 net yards for the game. He has now thrown for 200 yards nine times during his career (seven as a Gamecock) and in four of his last five starts. Perrilloux has at least one passing touchdown pass in 11 of his 12 games at Jax State. He was making his season debut for the Gamecocks after being suspended for the season-opener at Georgia Tech.

Jawaan Booker, DB So., 5-11, 180 Lanet, Ala. Jacksonville State
Booker led a Gamecock defense that limited the high-powered Florida State offense to just 78 yards rushing after leading the team with eight tackles, including four solo stops as the Gamecocks were just 35 seconds away from upsetting the Seminoles. Booker finished the contest with two fumble recoveries, including one in the third quarter that stopped a Florida State drive on the JSU 1-yard line. He also recorded another fumble on FSUs opening drive of the fourth quarter as the Gamecocks held on to a 9-7 lead before eventually falling 19-9. Booker now ranks second nationally in fumble recoveries per game (1.50).

Austin Signor, K Sr., 6-4, 216 Urbandale, Iowa Eastern Illinois
Signor made 1-of-2 field goal attempts (hitting from 31 and missing from 44 yards) in Eastern Illinois 31-0 road win over Indiana State. He averaged 68 yards on kickoffs as he sailed three of the five into the end zone for touchbacks.

NEWCOMER
Mon Williams, RB Jr., 6-2, 220 Mesquite, Texas Eastern Illinois
Williams carried the ball 15 times for 113 yards (7.5 yards/carry) and two touchdowns as Eastern Illinois went on the road and topped Indiana State 31-0. It marked his first 100-yard game of his EIU career after transferring from Florida. Williams scored two touchdowns on the day, the first from 54 yards to put the Panthers up 21-0 and the final from 30 yards out in the third quarter. After two weeks of the season, Williams is averaging 100.00 yards/game, which ranks 17th nationally.
