Should be a nice warm up for the Patriots as they host Buffalo to open the season on Monday night.
The league has mandated the AFL teams with names different today go by their original names for legacy games. Thus the Patriots have filed this weeks injury reports as the Boston Patriots, no idea if this mandate will carry over to television graphics.
Other teams celebrating the 50th anniversary of the AFL are: Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Dallas Texans (Kansas City Chiefs), Titans of New York (New York Jets), Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Houston Oilers (Tennessee Titans)

24-13 Buffalo with 5 min left. How long does it take the Pats to warm up?

Ahh, sorry about that then!
BTW, I'm loving these old school AFL uni's. I even like the Raiders, which just looks like the numbers are silver, not black.
NE's uni's were awesome!

Or you learn proper spelling of the word "they're". xrulesx Sorry, people getting the the "theres", "yours" and "tos" wrong is a pet peeve of mine.

Typical Bills last night....sad thing is that's not even one of their five worst losses this decade.

I'm getting tired of all these Patriot fans acting like they blew someone out. Let's get real Buffalo gave the game away because of a fumble and a blown coverage. THen their return man is an absolute idiot for saying he would try to do the same thing in the same situation again. I don't care if you are a great return man. You don't take a risk like that. It was bad enough he didn't kneel down and start on the 20. Then he tried to fight for extra yards like an idiot. Just go down. A couple first downs and you have the game won. I'm not a Bills fan, but you Patriot fans are a joke

Then maybe he shouldn't drop the third one which was right in his hands.

Brady did not look good...but then again Tom Brady not playing well is still better then most QB's...but a very entertaining game...much better then when the Pats were running up the score a couple years ago.

I wouldn't say he didnt look good... maybe rusty, but its hard to argue against a guy going 39-53 with 378 yards and several dropped passes. The INT was just a nice play by the defense.

Until that first cold November day in Buffalo. Then they'll be lucky to get him off of the heated bench.
