Richard Petty Motorsports which came to birth prior to this season with the merger of Petty Enterprises and Gillete Evernham Motorsports has merged with another team.
Richard Petty Motorsports will merge with Yates Racing while keeping the Petty name and driving Fords next season.
The new four-car team will include Kasey Kahne (http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/sprint/drivers/396/), Elliott Sadler (http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/sprint/drivers/75/), AJ Allmendinger (http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/sprint/drivers/1245/) and Paul Menard (http://sports.yahoo.com/nascar/sprint/drivers/1053/).
Sadler's seat could be in jeopardy as it has long been rumored that Jamie McMurray would move to Yates Racing at seasons end when Rousch has to drop a 5th team.
