BW...how is PV vs New Mexico State the matchup of the week? Is it because the SWAC faithful believe this is their shot at an FBS win?
I think Grambling vs NWST is the matchup of the week. Two teams desperately looking to make a statement. A game between two nearby rivals. Grambling has that home win streak and quite frankly, JSU continues to lose to TNST - so that can't be it!
And the 500th win? TDR got it covered! http://www.anygivensaturday.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63336

Instead of worrying about what happens in the SWAC, why dont you put more effort into focusing of your school? PV had a shot to beat New Mexico State, they only lost by 3.

Hey, this is FCS discussion we're having...
If you are not willing to discuss FCS football, please go elsewhere. I know you guys forget that the SWAC is a Div I conference at times, but it is and it's all fair game here!

W/ 2 TDs called back "mysteriously." :(
How the *F* does a line-judge throw a penalty flag for "illegal procedure" xlolx when our WR had just crossed the TD line some 35+ yds away? Oh! It gets MUCH, MUCH better! LOL xlolx How does the referee call "holding" on an O-lineman 40 yds from our ball carrier when our QB had just romped over 40+ yds enroute to a 65 yd TD? xlolx No! It's NOT over yet!!!!!!!! xlolx Our RB was on the ground laying FLAT and got up w/out the ball (didn't had it to the closest ref, etc), their defender came over and just "touched" the ball while it was on the ground. What we call this is a "New Mexico State fumblerooski." xlolx Stupid ****s gave the ball to nmsu. I was standing no more than 20-25ft from this play and am STILL in total disbelief.
One thing's for certain, they won't invite PV to their place next yr. lol No way we should've lost that game to them. :(
