Sorry folks, no inter-sub-division games listed here either.

edit: damn, I always make the topic before looking at the games... this is going to be a runaway.

Yeah, it is a no contest here with the USC vs Ohio State game, however if I had to choose a second intriguing game I would probably go with Notre Dame/Michigan, it will be interesting to see how well they both perform against better opponents this week.

1. OSU-USC
2. Michigan-Notre Dame
3. ECU-WVU

If I had seen my choices before making the poll I might have done that. I've done "What's the second best game of the week?" before. xoopsx

If you don't vote for the USC-OSU game, you're mentally deficient.

Somehow I didn't see the USC OSU game as one of the choices. Must be actively blocking this game out because I'll be watching it with the in-laws.

Let me go on the record now and say that OSU fans are terrible losers.

My first choice is of course OSU-USC and next to that is Notre Dame - Michigan, since the outcome of the game will affect their outcomes in the entire season - ND either begins with 5 game streak coming to USC or Michigan with 7 coming to Penn State.

For me it's UO and PU. A lot to see from this game -- how bad is UO's OL. Will James step in as a solid, albeit different, RB replacement? Has the Blount distraction been too much?

LOLzzzz....

USC/OSU for me. Don't want to be a deficient mental person!

xthumbsupx How about will Chip Kelly be able to get it done as a head coach? Is Purduedoo a actual team now? Pac 10 vs Big ten bragging rights to prove its not just the top team (USC) in the pac 10 that can dominate the big ten but all the teams.

I realize I am probably a sick SOB, but USC at Ohio State is one of those games where if the blimp crashed onto the field and wiped out both teams, while tragic, I would not shed a tear.

There are a few interesting games that can be used to gauge upcoming games. I think if you look closer there are some good games. Not sexy games but there are quite a few I'll watch. (Since USC/OSU will be the pregame of the week)
UCLA/Tennessee (does Kiffin have the Vols ready after thrashing WKU, with a trip to the Swamp next week)
Clemson/GaTech (early league game Tech plays Miami next Thursday, will the Jackets be less sloppy against the Tigers. Also we'll see if Dabo will have the Tigers ready or will they swoon again)
South Carolina/Georgia (Usually a close intense game, will the Dawgs rebound? will the Cocks find offense?)

Most Hyped game USC/OSU will not be the BEST game

Hard for games like this to live up to the hype.

You're most likely right, but to say that it's not the Game of the Week indicates that you have some sort of void between your ears or that you're a huge homer.

Did I hear right that the USC/OSU game is on ESPN? How did it not get on ABC? What are they showing?

Is there really anyone who would care about this that doesn't have ESPN? xconfusedx

I would bet that there are people in SoCal or Ohio that don't have cable who care.
