Wagner product Czech cut by Steelers

Former Wagner College kicker Piotr Czech was cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday. Czech, who was attempting to make the team as a free agent, was 2 for 3 on field goal attempts for Pittsburgh this preseason and perfect on PATs.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Czech handled place kicking, punting and field goal kicking duties for the Steelers this preseason while splitting time with Jeff Reed.
It's the second-straight year where Czech has been cut at the end of the preseason. He signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens in 2008 and was let go at the close of training camp.
