Nah, they didn't even throw a flag and I didn't hear anyone say it was on tv. He was getting pasted and they weren't picking up the blitz. The the stupid NFL it would be, maybe.

I'll give OU and UGA credit for playing games yesterday that moist schools shy away from.

As good as Florida is their philosophy is just play the conference schedule and a local non-conf slate. I don't think they've left the South to play a regular season game since '91 against 'Cuse, which they lost.

Hard to respect that.

Perfectly clean hit and the tackler got up and moved on - no gloating over the player on the ground, no "look at me - I'm so good" posturing.

Same hit by a Texas, USC, Alabama, etc., etc., etc. player and you'd have seen a celebration over the fallen Bradford.

Alright, I give. I was definitely looking at the play through Utah-colored glasses.

That said, I still don't like BYU. The team and their fans behave like they're somehow the cream of the Mountain West, even though their glory days are more than 20 years past. I'm sure they'll have a good year, but they'll never match Utah's run last year or in 2004.

Alot of people here in Oklahoma are crying in their beer saying it was a dirty hit. I saw it on ESPN and no way that was a dirty hit. Just a great play.xthumbsupx
