Can anyone tell me what the point of calling a play where the whole offensive line stays in position and acts like the ball was never snapped. The D went right by them and sacked the QB on a 4th down play.

Tulsa did this last year whenever the defense committed an offside penalty. My guess is that they were trying to fake the defense into thinking that there was some sort of penalty called, but Tulane certainly didn't bite.

Can someone tell me the point of Tulane playing DI football. Smallest DI school in the country....and that place was scary empty....you could truly hear a pin drop.
Sad....

Tulane is not the smallest D-I school in the country...they may have the smallest crowds, but they're not the smallest school...I believe Rice or Wake Forest would have that honor, unless I'm forgetting someone else.

What didn't help Tulane was playing the game on a Friday night. Too many people are die-hard prep football fans out here to go to that game and skip their HS games.
