I attended Wake Forest's coaches luncheon yesterday and during Q&A's Coach Grobe elaborated on new points of officials emphasis and the philosophy of making the game safer. Ejections can be made now from a personal foul high hit with the helmet especially the lead from the crown from "spear" type move. late hits especially. These plays not picked up (sucker playus) can also be reviewed by league officies on Mondays and suspensions can be levied. xnonox watch out.

The officials will get a good chance to show some emphasis after that Oregon- Boise State post-game situation, though thankfully it did not go beyond one punch.

Any other interesting rule changes this year? Didn't they do something about player fumbles, it's blown dead you can review it and award the ball to the other team if they came up with it?
As long as they don't do anything else to shorten the game.
