Primetime tennis tonight on ESPN 2. Roddick will naturally win tonight. What are the chances that he can win the whole thing? He has done it before.

Roddick actually is in Djok's quarter of the Draw (and Fed's half)

Murray could get Del Po in the Quarters which is a scary quarterfinal matchup. The winner of that plays the winner of the Nadal quarter which appears to be the easiest quarter with Tsonga, Gonzalez and Monfils as the next best seeds none of which has done well in the US Open. I'd pick the winner of the Murray - DelPo quarter to make it to the finals unless they tire themselves out since Nadal still does not appear fully recovered.

Going to be tough if all the favorites advance, if there are some upsets Roddick could win.

Went in 2004, great event to attend. xthumbsupx

Little problems so far for the seeded players. I'd like to see JMDP finally make a breakthrough, beating Murray to get to the semis, then into the finals. Can't see Nadal getting by Tsonga, maybe even losing before that.

10 Americans still left.

I might be making some odd choices.

Federer-Querrey
Djokovic-Roddick
Tsonga-Monfils
Murray-del Potro

Not completely out there.

Little do most people know that Querrey won the US Open Series. He has had a solid summer

That said, I don't like Monfils on the hard court and think that Nadal will battle himself into the Semis by beating Berdych before losing to the Murray-del Potro winner. Fed-Roddick could be an awesome semi.

My guess right now is a Fed - delPo final with Fed extending his streak. Yesterday he beat a strong Greul in 3 sets. Greul beats most people with the way he played yesterday.

I agree with your final and outcome.

Nadal and Monfils have met 3 previous times on a hard court, twice this year. Nadal won in Rotterdam 6-4 6-4, Monfils in Doha 6-4 6-4 and Nadal at the ATP Master Series Paris 6-3 6-2. I'm just thinking if Nadal is still hurting, a player like Monfils who will make you work could be the guy to beat him.

Querrey has been on fire recently, I'm hoping it can continue. Plays Kevin Kim today, who I can't see him losing to and if the top seeds win, Soderling and Davydenko. Both winnable matches, especially considering he just beat Davydenko in New Haven. Went by Blake as #2 American and that ranking should continue to rise.

Besides Roddick, Querrey and Blake, I would love to see Jesse Levine advance. Cilic is a tough opponent though.

Top men's seeds are still cruising, not so much for women.

American's are making a very good showing so far. Great to see Oudin, Witten and Isner advance, in addition to Roddick, Blake, Querrey and the Williams' sisters. Levine came close before getting blown out last 3 sets. Two more American men playing to get into third round.
