He's the starter for now, but he will likely become a situational player when Gaither is healthy. Mays seems to be having some trouble in coverage. He wouldn't be the first (see J. Trotter).

The Eagles have announced that Omar Gaither will be the starter. Joe will still see plenty of action though.

talked to joe. yea.. disappointment, but he is much happier than he was last year at this time, when he was really mad about being practice squad.

Hopefully Joe plays himself back into the starter slot. I hate having #96 as a middle linebacker. Just doesn't look right.
