I actually redact my earlier comment and I'm more interested in the Georgia-OSU match-up. South vs. Midwest should be pretty fun!

Florida State/Miami This time the canes won't get off easily. The only conference game on the list. Maybe the two can meet in Tampa and save the city from the embarrassment of last season.

Yup. Those two can decide if the BCS pecking order gets blown up again at the end of the season. I think all the other games are only important within the established BCS power structure.

I agree with Oregon vs Boise State...a win for BSU could propel them to an undefeated, BCS crashing season where a win for Oregon on the blue turf could solidify them as a challenger to USC's hold on the PAC-10.

Oregon/Boise St. is intriguing. And UGA at Okie State is also very interesting to me to see how far UGA will fall without Stafford and if the Okie State hype is real.

but i had to go with Bama/VaTech. Any time you can get 2 top-10 teams together is a "must-see" to me.

Georgia will likely be better this year than last simply due to not having both lines of scrimmage decimated by injuries like last year.

You just know VaTech is looking for some payback against 'Bammer, and it shore' would tickle me if they got some.

Watching Oklahoma play would be my choice of the games listed. xthumbsupx

Being that I have to listen to all this OU garbage all the time, I'm NOT watching that game. My vote is for UGA/OSU. I hope OSU scores 40+ points on those guys. I'd love to see the Big 12 put their stamp on the SEC this year.

I would normally agree with the bolded premise, but when it's a pre-season poll or ranking I give a little less credibility.

After all, Michigan was ranked #5 in '07. xeyebrowxxsmiley_wix
