Where can I find a list of FCS vs. FBS games?

Anyone know of any interesting week 1 matchups with upset potential?

Depends on your definition of interesting.

Some of the ones I'll be paying attention to:

Villanova vs Temple
App St vs ECU
Richmond vs Duke
W&M vs UVA
Weber St vs Wyoming
North Dakota St vs Iowa St

ND @ TT?!

Ouch!

What in the holy hell is Texas Tech doing scheduling that game? That is simply unfair.

"Upset" potential:

Southern University at Louisiana Lafayette. Since the onset of I-AA in 1978, Louisiana Lafayette is, by my count, 29 - 20 vs. I-AA/FCS schools. Louisiana Lafayette will play a quarterback starting his first college game while Southern will be starting Payton Award candidate Bryant Lee; a Senior. Louisiana Lafayette also lost the school's all time leading rusher, Tyrell Fenroy, to graduation.

Another thing: There may be more Southern fans in the stadium than Louisiana Lafayette fans. Probably not, but it could happen. Either way, there are going to be a whole lot of Southern fans in the 31,000 seat stadium. It will not be like a real road game.

I think you will have one or two wins from this group. Weber State at Wyoming is a very intriguing game to me. Hope the Cats can beat the Owls on opening night.

Jackson State -vs- Mississippi State.
ESPNU at 2:30pm.

I honestly don't know what to expect from Mississippi State.
If Croom was still there, I know it would be run, run, and more run.
If I had to guess, I would expect Mississippi State to be a passing team this year.

We got a transfer from mississippi state who was to be their starting SS but he got arrested and released from the team for being stupid.
He didn't leave the scene when the Starksville Police told him to leave.
The only way he got his release to play at JSU was on the condition he DO NOT PLAY IN THE GAME AGAINST MISSISSIPPI STATE. xlolx
He was also their Punt and kickoff returner.

Anthony Johnson 100 yard INT TD against Bamma

Anthony Johnson (http://www.clarionledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2009908070350)

Two years ago, the Jackson native returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown, helping Mississippi State beat Alabama 17-12. The victory sparked MSU's first winning season in seven years and the play was, arguably, the biggest of the Sylvester Croom era.

"It felt like a dream come true," Johnson said. "A moment of a lifetime."

The moment also feels like a lifetime ago. Less than six months after scoring that TD, Johnson had withdrawn from school after an on-campus gun charge. He subsequently pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an arrest. He was ineligible for the 2008 season and was released from the team in the spring of 2009.

Cal Poly has 2 games against FBS teams, Ohio and San Jose St. At this time, with the loss of most of last years offense and with new coach on board, I think it is hard to say how the Mustangs will do against these two teams. I hope they will be competitive in each..
