I think we all expected Florida to be #1, with Texas and OU in trail. I think that Ohio State is once again overrated, although with Terrel Pryor they should do well in a weaker conference. USC is WAY overrated with all the personnel they lost in the draft, and they don't really seem to have as many guys this year to "reload" at skill positions/key defensive positions. Virginia Tech is also suspect IMO, but after the top 5 or so it becomes very muddy. Nice to see Nebraska back in the polls, its been too long.

Florida deserves all the pre-season hype imo. They might not win the title but they're the most talented team imo.

Underrated
Iowa- I think they're going to win the Big 10
UNC- the talent level might be the best in the ACC
Nebraska- They're on the right track
Rutgers- my Big East favorite
Northwestern- will suprise this year, might be their best team since '96

Overrated
USC- i can't believe i'm saying it but they lost too much, even for Carroll
Ohio State- Pryor and what?
Penn State- 9 returning starters
Mississippi- they'll win some big games but also lose a couple they shouldn't

Side note on NW's QB Mike Kafka...He rushed for a Big Ten QB record for over 200+ yards last yr at Minnesota...Not sure if his arm is anywhere near where Bacher's was, but he can scramble and run like the best of them...Also losing Sutton will hurt but in the spread, their RBs will get plenty of yards vs the Nickel and dime defenses

UNC will be good, but the talent still lies in Tallahassee, now the coaching is a different matter. xlolx October 22, should be a good game.

Thank God for a couple new teams. Same old, same old other than that. Nebraska and Notre Dame? Wishful thinking on some people's part?

Nebraska closed pretty strong and the Big 12 North is kind of weak. I'm surprised at LSU being 11. If their QB play isn't better they will struggle in the SEC. (I guess the Peach Bowl impressed some folks)
