Bobcats sound off

And on Family Fun Day, which marked the final official fall scrimmage for Montana State before its season kicks off at Michigan State on Sept. 5, the Bobcats did a lot of it.
“Hey E,” Ricky Evans yelled in the direction of punt returner Everett Gilbert.
No response.
“Hey E!” Evans, who was covering the punt, insisted.
“What?” Gilbert finally responded.
“I’m gonna light you up!” Evans assured the freshman. Evans made good on his promise, sticking Gilbert after a short gain. Gilbert responded by returning a kick for a touchdown several plays later.
Other times the noise was primal.
