It's not saying much considering the state of Orange football but it's interesting to see a guy go from big time college basketball at Duke to starting QB for a Big East team. It'll be even more interesting to see how well he does during the season.

They call for the coach's head one year because the teams stinks, and the next year they put a kid in at QB that hasn't played football since high school? Wow, looks like 'Cuse is in for another long year. They are clearly desperate.

Remember Paulus is a local legend on the gridiron, it's all about the $$$ for a program struggling to sell tickets.

Considering their best season since 2002 was a 6-6 campaign in 2004, and that over the past four seasons they are a combined 3-25 in conference play, I'd say the Orange are extremely desperate.

Too bad Paulus' best move, the flop, can only be used in roughing the passer situations in football. xlolx

This guy ended up being a reserve as a senior on the dook b-ball team (after being a starter) He should have went with football in the beginning...not many 6'3 white guys getting it done in the NBA

And when the team flops again this year, they will continue struggling to sell tickets.

Too true!

Is he gonna bend over and slap the ground after big plays?

His first road start will be at Penn State. Ouch, that's going to hurt.
