Is it wrong that I've been thinking all day about how the Eagles get the first opportunity to test Brady's knee?

I can't help my thoughts. I didn't say I want Brady hurt. I can only say I might have been envisioning it all day. xwhistlex xwhistlex xwhistlex

He otherwise looks very sharp tonight. Of course, the Eagles are also getting ZERO pressure.

Mays played pretty well tonight I think. Only 1 tackle but he seemed to be agressive and didn't have any obvious busts that I saw.

This.
Just wait until the second half when it's the 2's versus the 2's and the 3's versus the 3's! LOL
Lots of penalties, dropped passes, fumbles, missed assignments, bad tackling, sacks, INT's, bad passes............

It won't be dreadful now. There'll be PETA protests outside the stadium and Mike Vick running around the field like crazy in the last two preseason games. I'm actually kind of looking forward to it now. xlolx

Nope, I've been thinking the same thing with the Bills playing the opener there on Sept. 14.....of course they haven't touched Brady since about 2003 anyway.

Well that wasn't too bad of a 3rd quarter for the Iggles!

Akers has become disturbingly inaccurate the past two seasons. Might be time to look elsewhere if your guy can't hit 43 yard game winners.

Brady looked good. Patriots D-Line looked good as well. But the most pleasant surprise of the game was Julian Edelman.
GO PATS!

The Pats did look pretty good...at least the first teamers...depth at WR should be a concern for them...Galloway certainly is not the answer (unless you like scrub players). The only thing that matters for the Pats is their healthy connection of Brady to Moss...make me sick haha

Agreed, the Pat's 1's looked pretty good.
Eagles 1's looked decent. Tough to gage though with the injuries they have right now.

From the Eagles, McCoy looked good, the WR's looked good (that is, when McNabb got the ball anywhere close to them), Celek looked good before he got hurt, and the run defense looked pretty good.
Offensive line is going to be a worry, especially since more than half the starting OL isn't there. I'm still worried about the LB'ers covering people on pass plays - Jordan got flat out abused last year in the NFC championship game against the Cards and he didn't look any better last night. And the Eagles need to find a way to score once they are in the red zone - maybe that's what Vick will help with. Always going to struggle with McNabb going from real hot to real cold, but that's been that way for a decade. And yes, Akers is starting to look a little long in the tooth. Not a bad first preseason game though.
