Atta boy, UNH! That's what we count on you for. Told ya you were just setting Ball State up last week (actually St. Francis looked non-terrible today while blowing out Morehead St.).

Now if you'd just go ahead and lose all of your conference games, I'll be happy to keep all this goodwill going. ;)

Just got back from the game (I live 1 hour from Muncie). Great Defensive effort by the Cats! They put alot of pressure on the Ball State QB, Ball State's only play that worked tonite was a delay pass over the middle which got them a couple good gains. The only thing that impressed me about Ball State was the punter the kicker and the incredibly inept MAC officiating. The first hitting out of bounds on the QB was barely borderline but the 2nd on the RB was downright awful. I was expecting the Cats to put a pinky on one of the Ball State players near the sidelines and get called for it. Seriously without the horrible officiating (40 yards in holding penalties to put us from the 10 to the 50 on the second fumble?) they would have been a 21 point win for the Cats. The offense was ok, not great so work in progress there. I liked the 'full backfield' plays it seemed to confuse the Ball State D and they got some good ground gains and a couple good passes out of it. All in all a great win though, it was great to see the Cats again and to see them beat an FBS team. Could anyone hear our UNH UNH chants on the audio?

I'll admit to doubting the cats. Just turns out St. Francis is better than expected. Congrats on the win. Looking forward to another barn burner in Williamsburg this year.

Nice butt on that Ball State Cheerleader.

Was at the tail gate next to our's that provide all the girls ice cream before the game.....you could add an "s" to butt

IMO, should've pooched there. UNH misses a long FG try.

I'll bet that was the plan. Ball St had a safty back. If you pooch it then you'd have a back up QB, a kicker, and a bunch of o-line man trying to catch a guy WAY faster then they are....bad news

Having seen four of the last five FBS games, this was the first time I felt we had to conquer a team with 22 more scholarships on their home field (that's expected) along with an officiating crew from the home team's conference! xoopsx And yeah, their punter and kicker really showed what can be done with those extra scholarships, they were very good!

Great, great performance by the defense. The number of holds by BSU to stop one of our defenders from getting a clean run at the QB was impressive. And that sack by Ware to crush their last series was bone rattling! The Joey Orlando catches seemed to spark the offense.

I'm still pinching myself that we've actually beaten five consecutive FBS teams! And having the pleasure of now seeing in person four of those five wins has been an experience I'll take to my grave.

Great time visiting Indy, really nice downtown area and the Speedway was impressive as heck. Enjoyed the breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches in Muncie and we got some great BBQ from this hole in a wall place for the tailgate. Quaffed some Upland Brewery (Bloomington) Octoberfest before the tailgate which was very good. Others also sampled their Wheat and their IPA. xnodx xnodx
