From the Houston Chronicle...

Born and raised in Canton, Ill., not far from Peoria, Grigsby, 27, will likely never make it to that other, more famous Canton in Ohio, but he's determined to find a niche in the NFL. The Texans become his third stop after Kansas City and Miami, and fullback his second position. The Chiefs had drafted him in the fifth round in 2005 out of Illinois State as a linebacker.

“I did what I had to do to survive,” Grigsby (5-11, 237 pounds) said of moving from defense to offense in 2007. “I was in the third year of a three-year contract in Kansas City and I had a new head coach (Herm Edwards), a different one than had drafted me (Dick Vermeil). (Edwards) asked me to make the change. I'm a team player. I have no ego. It's (checked) at the door. I'll do what I have to do to play, and anything I can to help my team.”
