Dolphins get first practice in the books
JU begins acclimation period - first scrimmage set for Aug. 15
The JU football team hit the field for the first time in 2009, practicing for just over two hours in helmets and shorts.
Amid steamy temperatures, the new Dolphins got the first hour of practice to get adapted to the new schemes so that when the veterans came out, everyone was on the same page.
