For the third straight day, the heat index hit triple digits so the Eagles also got used to wearing pads in the heat.
Day three of Georgia Southern’s fall camp meant the football team hit the practice fields in shoulder pads and helmets for the first time. Friday (Aug. 7) also marked the final split squad practice. The Eagles’ Saturday morning session will be the first time all 90 players will be on the field practicing at the same time.
