FS Kevin Retoriano, Grade: A-, He didn’t have the flashiest of springs, but he’s the same old Retoriano. He laid a lick on Becksted in the spring game that let you know he’s still all over the field and he was voted captain as well, which lets you know his teammates trust him to be everywhere too.
Montana State -- (2008) Enters the season as Montana State’s starting free safety. (2007) Started all 11 games at strong safety, earning Honorable Mention All-Big Sky kudos… finished second on the team with 58 tackles… intercepted three passes, second on the team, with a team-high eight pass breakups… also forced one fumble, and returned another 23 yards… recorded nine tackles, forced a fumble and broke up a pass against Weber State… returned n interception for a touchdown against Idaho State, adding a pass breakup and four tackles… picked off a pass and added six tackles, including one behind the line of scrimmage, against Sacrament State. (2006) Enrolled in January as a greyshirt, playing as a true freshman… played in all 13 games, registering 23 tackles, including 16 solos… recorded season-high six tackles, with 1.5 for a loss and his only interception of the season, in MSU’s home win over Northern Colorado… broke up his only pass of the season at Montana… had five tackles against Eastern Washington.
