Duke is to college basketball what Notre Dame is to college football and the Dallas Cowboys are to pro football: in each case, arguably the most hated program in America. I guess that inspires a lot of the Texas votes on this poll.

I got a state basketball title ring with JJ in high school and will pull for Duke in this one just to represent the mid-Atlantic area well; however, I have family ties to UNC and NC State so I don't usually pull for Duke too often.

Duke really has not looked that great this season. They certainly aren't a bad team, but they lack depth, and are not #1 caliber.

Sure he is. He put up 38 or 39 last year against a top 5 Wake. I certainly hope he doesn't put up anything close to that though.

Glad you caught that!

JJ was good....Duke was pretty good. But the one thing that was pretty glaring to me was that Texas is NOT that good...not a top 10 team, maybe top 20. They have the individual talent for sure, but they aren't even close to putting it all together.
