Jozy was signed by Hull on an 11 million US one year loan.

I think Hoyadestroya85's investment in an Altidore USMNT jersey is safe.

Seriously, what a freakin' awesome thing to happen for Jozy. They didn't loan him for that much just to have him sit on the bench. He'll play against the best in the world. Perfect spot for him before the WC.

I'm so happy about this.. I think he's just starting to tap into his talent. He's big, strong, plays with pace and knows how to finish. Villarreal doesn't know what they have with Jozy.

I was hoping he would end up at the Cottage. On the bright side, he should get first team play. Well done JA!

He is penciled in as the starter...they broke their transfer/loan fee. His issue will be service...if he gets it he will be fine. Either way...Hull stays up and he is golden. Hull goes down...he played a full year and hopefully moves up to another team.

If he can get some playing time, he is going to develop quickly. Which is awesome to say, because he already looked decent in the Confed cup.

If he starts, wow.... that would be amazing!

He and we (the U.S) just need him to be getting playing time in advance of the World Cup.

Is that loan figure verified? I doubt a one-year loan deal for him would be that high. Didn't he transfer to Villreal for $10 million?

That's the unverified rumor - 6.5M GBP.
