Colgate?s SID Cornell Retires After 33 years

In the chain of players, coaches, officials and media, Cornell was an important link bringing sports information to life for 42 years.
“Bob’s role is seamless,” said Fred Dunlap, former Colgate University football coach and athletic director. “If he was pushy, that would turn people off and he wouldn’t have had relationships he had with people. He did things and you almost took him for granted. … Many times coaches did take him for granted.”
