ESPNU and NFL Network Up and Running Now On Comcast

At least on my lineup here in Delaware, I now have:

NFLHD on Ch 218
ESPNU on Ch 730

I have the basic digital package, no premiums.

Looking forward to catching some FCS playoffs on the U this year. xthumbsupx

I believe ESPNU is the only station I want on Comcast that isn't already there. I hope my TV will have it when I get back.

Nope. They added them to the lineup today (er, yesterday now that it's past midnight). I didn't order a thing.

I read on The News Journal's website that ESPNU was added today (yesterday), so I did some channel surfing and immediately noticed those two channels and posted this thread. I also later discovered that I now have the MLB network (Ch 738), NHL network (Ch 739), and NBA network (Ch 273). This is pretty cool. :)

Anyone from New England having any problem with getting these channels? I am not getting them...I am not sure why.

I was at a Comcast location today in NH and they said "...by the end of the month."

I don't see why they can't just change it now!! I want more info on teams besides the Patriots without having to watch ESPN.

Well yeah, but who wants to pay a premium beyond what they're already gouging you for, especially when DirecTV carries NFL Network on their basic package?

those two channels and many more sports channels are
already available on the basic FIOS package.

I wish they would have the same stations throughout their broadcasting areas...I can see the Big Ten network being only in areas with Big Ten schools but I mean otherwise it should be the same all around...damn cable crooks!
