Todd Van Poppel? Wait a minute. Isn't he still a phenom just waiting to have his break-out year?

Todd Van Poppel? Wait a minute. Isn't he still a phenom just waiting to have his break-out year?

I'm sure there's some alternate universe where Van Poppel, Ben McDonald, and Brien Taylor will be going into the Hall of Fame together.

Blyleven, Smith, and Baines deserve to be there. I'm on the fence with dawson and Parker.

Congrats to Jim Rice, whose HOF induction was a long, long, long, long, long time coming.

And I'd like to mention the five names in next year's HOF class that simply make me cry laughing:

Dave Burba
Turk Wendell
Curt "The Mechanic" Leskanic
John Vanderwal
Darren Bragg

And, really, Karim Garcia? If he were arrested in the Dominican Republic with a suitcase full of Andro I wouldn't even bat an eyelash.

Of the returnees, I'd vote for Blyleven and Tim Raines. Of the new guys, I'd vote for Alomar, Larkin, Edgar Martinez, and Fred McGriff.
