Southeastern Fullback Jones Named to Allstate AFCA Good Works Team
NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Southeastern Louisiana University fullback Darnell Jones was one of 106 student-athletes from across the country named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, honoring college football players who make outstanding contributions in the areas of volunteerism and civic involvement.
Jones, a senior from Kentwood and a former Jewel Sumner product, played in 10 games last season for the Lions where he played mainly on special teams. But it was his off-field contributions that he best excelled, offering an impressive resume of community service.
