Don't really care much for Rasmus - plus he's in a real slump now - BA has dropped off 20 points in a week. Beckham is decent, but he's only played 40 games so we'll see how he does over the next 80 or so.
And actually, depending on whether he stays with the Phils or is part of the Halladay deal, JA Happ is sporting a 7-0 record with a 2.68 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP - if he keeps those numbers up in either Philly or Toronto he'll be the NL/AL ROY over either of those guys.

I think Ricky Romero is still the tops on the AL side...

depends how Beckham finishes, you know they always would rather have a hitter than a fielder...If Gordon finishes around 300 with 15 HRs he will win over Romero, but Id say Bailey in Oakland actually has his name in the hat too

Lets say Romero finishes with 14 wins and a 3.50 ERA... you dont think 14 wins trumps 15 HR?

Yea if he keeps that up, its his, I assume after the trade of Halladay, and maybe Wells and Rolen, Toronto will sink like an anchor, but time will tell

7-1
Eh, one bad inning (the 6th inning) with a lot of bloop hits. It's baseball. ERA is still sub 3.00 and even in the loss he struck out 6 and walked zero. Not too shabby.
I saw Rasmus went 0-3 in the series as the Cards dropped 2 out of 3. His BA is now below .260. Advantage Happ apparently. :p

Right now Cards are a team with 3 starters and 2 turds. Phils got to see both of the turds and beat both of them, no surprise there at all. Lohse and Wellemeyer are just awful.

Well, we did start one of our turds versus yours and won going away. Phils have seen every Cardinal starter except for Carpenter this year and the Phils have won 4 of 5 and have scored 40 runs on the Cardinals in those 5 games. And the Phils haven't thrown Hamels against the Cardinals all season either, so missing Carpenter is kinda balanced out there. And heck, the Cards haven't seen Halladay yet this year either!!! :p

I think Lohse has potential to be better, at least as good as he was before he got hurt, but Wellemeyer just needs to go away. Awful, just awful.
