GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Last season, the University of North Dakota made its NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) debut. A standout team in the former North Central Conference, the Fighting Sioux finished with a record of 6-4 in 2009 and captured their sixth-consecutive winning season.
