Two Bearkats played in the game.

According to Copy Kat of KatFans.com..."QB Tyler Copeland was 5-7-111 with a 63-yard TD pass and a carry for 9 yards. WR Jace Jackson was 3-52 with a 9 yard TD catch. Copeland was on the South squad and Jackson on the North. Not sure this game features the overall high calibre talent it used to, but those are nice numbers anyway. Copeland may be our first QB in this game as an original recruit. Long and the two OU transfers played in it."

I heard a David Bailiff interview recently on 1560 AM in Houston.

Said that he has no problem allowing his guys to play in these HS All-Star games. They earned it and it is their final "hurrah" and if anything, good pub for Rice to get on television. He's the complete opposite of the "big schools" who are anti-allowing kids participation.

Glad to see the SLC represented in this game and the several others out there...
