Maverick Stadium Receives Renovation with Installation of FieldTurf
ARLINGTON, Texas - The University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Stadium is getting a makeover this summer and the first component of that is almost complete with the installation of FieldTurf which is replacing an old artificial turf surface.
Maverick Stadium, home of the school’s men’s and women’s track teams, is one of the most utilized track and field facilities in the Southwest. The stadium is also used for other university events and for football and soccer by a number of Arlington Independent School District institutions.
