Delaware FCS Teams Could Host Games Despite Betting

The NCAA Executive Committee will vote next month on a proposal recently approved by its championships cabinet that would allow teams that earn the right, through successful competition, to host NCAA games, said Tom Yeager, commissioner of the Colonial Athletic Association. Schools in Delaware still could not host neutral-site events.
That would particularly impact the University of Delaware, a CAA member, and Wesley College. Both have been frequent hosts of NCAA football playoff games – Delaware as a member of the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) and Wesley in Division III.
