My wife cousin is currently in first after two rounds of stroke play (he he), he is now on his third round of Match play after winning the first two 6-4 and 8-6. If he wins this tourney, he qualifies for the masters.

Just looked. He eagled to Par 4s (short ones but still 328 and 315). You aren't going to lose many holes when you are playing like that. Playing as few holes as he has will keep him fresh if he goes far.

He is up 3 after the 3rd hole in the round of 16. This is his 2nd match of the day.

CCU player Sam Lyons is in the Rd of 16 as well. Playing Rickie Fowler though, one of the top Am's in the world.

Normally being the medalist is a curse in this tournament.

Wow. Don't know that I have heard of a player be as dominant as he has been at this level tournament in 3 rounds in a row.
Tough luck for Lyons - After being up 4 through 8 he loses 4 straight and then 15. Good news is he only needs to be 1 up from here to force a playoff.

Nick just got done. Won the semis 3&2, will play in the finals tomorrow. I am not sure how they work, I think he has to play 36 holes against the other finalist.
Good luck Nick!!
