The Bison are the #1 team receiving votes in the newest version of both the AP & Coaches poll. Looks like the world beating Bison are getting a lot of respect these days.

Yeah, too bad they have to play #4 Villanova on Tuesday. If they lose, they're gonna drop in the "receiving votes" category.

I have to call bull***** on the voters of both polls however. Houston defeats 2 ranked teams last week (LSU and Arizona). The AP has them 27 and USA Today has them at 35!!!! Arizona at 2-3 are 24 and 25 in the respective polls! Sorry guys, the Cats are not that good this year. Their 2 wins are against a very mediocre UVA and Kansas!

As much as the tourney win last year was a big statement for the PL, and the Holy Cross win over Notre Dame... A win here would frankly have unbelievable impact on the outside perception of PL hoops.

Thankfully, we are done beating up on Patriot League teams for this year. Bucknell is a very good team, though, regardless of conference affiliation. I hope they give a Duke a game later this season. If they lose more than 5 games, I'll be shocked, and they'll surprise someone in a 7-10 game in the tourney.

Does Bucknell get an invite to the Big East tourny? :D At 2-1 (victories over Syracuse and DePaul, the home loss to 'Nova), they'll probably have more Big East wins than Rutgers...

NICE!!! :hurray: :hurray:

Believe it or not, Rutgers will win 6-7 BE games this year. Their schedule is very easy, with two games apieve vs. South Florida, Seton Hall and St. John's (compare to two with UCONN, Louisville and Syracuse for 'Nova).
