Richmond Inks Head Coach Through 2014 Season

University of Richmond Director of Athletics Jim Miller announced Tuesday that the contract of head football coach Mike London has been extended through the 2014 season. London ’83 guided his alma mater to the 2008 Division I National Championship in his first year as a head coach.

Spider fans - any mention of a buyout in this one if an FBS program or someone else wanted to swoop in and try to get London under their wings? Seems like he could definitely become a very hot commodity if the Spiders remain where they are at.

The length of this contract may be longer than any other at the FCS level - anyone know otherwise?
