Recent Sosa "revelation" was a surprise to no one, however, got me to thinking. All baseball fans know that a large percentage of players from that era were on the juice. No one, I mean no one, is above being suspect in this. However, if you had to name 2-3 big name stars from that era, who would you put on your own personal "he didn't use PED's and I think he played the game the right way" team? I think I'd start with Greg Maddux, Frank Thomas, and Griff Jr. Your thoughts?

I am going with 1990-2003 for the era, It's my belief the main-line PEDS started in Oakland with Canseco and McGwire.

Off the top of my head I'll go with.
OF - Tony Gwynn
OF - Ken Griffey Jr
OF - Kirby Puckett
1b - Frank Thomas
2b - Ryne Sandberg
SS - Ozzie Smith
3B - Chipper Jones
C - Mike Piazza
DH - Cal Ripken Jr
RHP - Greg Maddux
LHP - Randy Johnson
Relief - Lee Smith

I'd question Piazza and Ripken, but that's just me. Rest I think are right on the money.

3B - Chipper Jones

Wasn't Chipper Jones mentioned in the Mitchell report? He was on the Yankees when Pettite was asking Clemens about PED's, and I'm pretty sure he was one of those players.
