Elon's Applegate Inducted Into NFF Honor Society
Tim Applegate, who concluded his collegiate football playing career as a fullback for the Elon Phoenix in 2009, has earned induction into the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in the classroom, in the community and on the playing field. He is one of 564 players from 266 schools nationally that make up the 2009 induction class. The honor society welcomed its inaugural class in 2007.
