Deshawn Shead Becomes A Two-Sport And Academic Standout
Redshirt Freshman Cornerback Deshawn Shead had quite a year for himself.
He was a starter on Coach Jerry Glanville’s football team and by season’s end he had earned 2nd team All-Big Sky Conference. Shead was also was a multi-event athlete in Viking track and field, surprising the conference by finishing fourth in the decathlon after winning three events and finishing second in another two.
