MEAC Announces Thursday Televison Schedule
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced its 2009 Thursday night television football slate today featuring three exciting matchups scheduled to broadcast live on ESPNU and ESPNU HD. The nationally televised matchups are a part of the MEAC’s seven-year partnerships with ESPN.
“This will be another excellent Thursday night slate as all teams are expected to be highly competitive,” said MEAC Commissioner Dennis Thomas. “The nationally televised games provide the MEAC another opportunity to showcase not only the football programs but the great institutions as well. I encourage area fans to attend the games but those unable to be in attendance should tune in to see great Division I football.”
