NJ all stars vs Northeast all stars played yesterday. We had two recruits play-Colbert & Muller. Maine had a QB play well. Many FCS players on rosters. Could only find a highlight video of last play of the game. Anyone have an article with any game stats?

Mane recruit only 1 with any real stats, not much of an arm but accurate. completed over 1/2 of his throws well over 100 yds passing by 3rd period. No stats after that other than for rbs.

NJ qbs did not get any opportunity to pass much at all

NJ QBs were Brent Caprio (W&M), and Mike Colvin (Lehigh). They were a combined 5-10 for 28 yards. Don't know about running numbers, although Caprio is a dual threat guy.

The only Maine player on the Northeast roster was Darlos James, who is a DB. The three NE QBs were listed as going to Purdue, Florida and Bloomsburg St. Marcus Wasilewski, who reportedly signed with Maine in February, is listed as a Bloomsburg St. signee.

The only game info on their website is one line on the ticker across the top. They were to have a live video feed, which did not work, as well as an audio feed that didn't work. Game will alledgedly be rerun on the NFL Network at some point. The website has lots of links that have no information entered.

There were 13 CAA recruits in the game.

Found an article on Wasilewski, and it says he is going to Maine. He had a good game, going 18-23 for 150 and his teams only score.

Lafayette fans are happy with what we saw from our big DE/DT recruit, Zach Protin, who at 6-4 235 had enough speed to make an open field tackle on the opening kickoff. Zach also had a couple more tackles and pressured the QB in an overall impressive effort. There were four other Patriot League players in the game.

I didn't watch the game, but apparently the coach who played QB Mike Colvin wanted to bring back the Four Horsemen.... so we didn't learn much! xlolx (Thanks RichH.)

It was actually 14. They do have the rosters on their site, with school they'll be attending. Of course we've already identified one mistake.

Hopefully they teach him how to get his hand off his knee, lower his a$$ and get his eyes up so he can see what he hits. Other than that, his size is impressive. xsmiley_wix

The Northeast Conference had 3 players in this game. Wagner College (3), rest of NEC (0). Maybe a good sign of things to come.

Actually, CCSU had 1 player in the game - Jeremy Crayton (6-0, 180lbs) of Piscataway High School.

Crayton will be in the New Jersey defensive backfield and will return punts. Last season he averaged 14.5 yards on the six punts he returned. He also caught 22 passes for 505 yards and seven touchdowns. He said he will play at Central Connecticut.

"I want to do everything — intercept passes, have some big hits, play like an all star," said Crayton, who intercepted one pass last season and led the team in tackles with 28. "We want to come out and show the whole world how good Jersey is." http://www.mycentraljersey.com/article/20090607/SPORTS0303/906070329/1172/Piscataway+trio+return+for+one+more+game

----
According to some recruiting sites, he had "interest" from a few I-A schools (Rutgers, UConn, UVA) and was offered by Akron and Temple. He had given a verbal to James Madison back in Feburary, but something must have happened as he is now claiming to be headed to CCSU. Who knows this could be a good pick up for us.

Is there a site that has stats of the game?

I haven't found one. As Tribe said the official site has been a disappointment:

http://www.thefootballclassic.com/pressbox/gamestats/

Besides Lafayette's DE Protin and Colgate's TE Sitler whom I was focused in on and who didn't disappoint, two other FCS kids who made plays and caught my eye were SBU's DT Geronimo and Yale LB Leffler.

The Maine QB garnered a lot of broadcast coverage: it was mentioned several times he was a favorite of Theisman and the player was interviewed by the sideline babe.
