Now I see the impact of losing CN8 Sports Only 4 UNH Games on TV this year :( Also does anyone know if WMUR ABC is doing the Dartmouth game this year still? Its not showing on the Schedule on the UNH Site. I have Direct TV so i think I still may get more then 4 Games. The Hofstra Game could be on MSG/YES Network.

i'm sad about it too, UNHFan.

First time I can recall getting two home games on TV. Seems like it was always two road and one home. Never understood that.
BTW, need to figure out if I get CN.

Just looked online and it's saying I get it on.... Channel 8 of course. When CN8 stopped I deleted the channel from my line-up. Will have to check that out tonight. Looks like FiOs is back on hold.

Down here on the plantation, CN is still on channel 8 and 281 (HD) on Comcast. Not sure what you city boys get.

I just got rid of comcast and went to Verizon Fios (which is great). Basically about50% more channels and about 50% more HD for 2 TVs, 1 with a DVR, for less $ (and thats not an introductory price). I get CSN (Philadelphia) but don't get the CNP channel that replaced CN8. Oh, well, luckily I'll be at the JMU @ UD and JMU @ UMass games.

flip that around.. theres always more villanova games televised at home... it might have something to do with the fact that we have one of the nicer press boxes in the nation at our level. But its aggravating because i havent missed a home football game since 05

CN8 is based in Philly....they are having economic difficulties like everyone these days.
that is the reason that 5 of the 8 games are coming from Villanova (Philly) and Delaware (not that far from Philly). It's to cut costs.
not a single game originating from the "southern" teams .....JMU, Richmond, W&M, Towson

Actually, the 10/3 game is UNH @ Towson, not in Durham as listed above.

baltimore is probably closer to Philly than UNH anyway, so that might even further support my theory that this is being done for budgetary reasons.

Looking at BDKJMU's list I see televised games at:
Richmond -- twice
William & Mary -- once
JMU -- once
UNH -- twice
UMass -- three times
Maine -- twice
Most of the match-ups between the pre-season highly ranked teams will be on TV. And looking at last season's games, the number on CN8/Comcast Sports Network (CSN) is about the same as this year's games scheduled for CSN.
FWIW, I see that AT+T's UVerse product lists CSN within its station lineup. I'll be verifying that Tuesday! ;)
